1. Rest your thumb

    Make sure your thumb is resting on the low E string while you play the guitar.

2. Alternate your fingers

    Always alternate your fingers. It might feel awkward at first but it will become natural and will improve your speed and smoothness.

3. Count while you play

   Teach yourself to count as it will become more natural the more you do it. This will improve your rhythm.
