1. Free and Rest strokes

    Begin by practicing your piece with free strokes. Make sure your thumb is retalively straight. When you strike the note make sure your thumb goes toward the floor and does not tuck in behind your fingers.

2. Fingerings

   Follow the fingerings on the music.

3. Keep your right hand still

   Make sure that your right hand is still and does not bounce around. The more still your hand the more ability you will have to find your strings without using another finger as an anchor.
