1. Time Signature:
This piece is in 3/4 time. There is 3 beats per bar.
2. The quarter note rest at the beginning of each bar
Remember - When you read guitar music it is divided into 2 parts the bass and the treble parts. When you play on beat 1 that is in the bass section, so there is a rest in the treble section even though you do not hear it.
