1. Go Slow
With this piece, go slow and teach your hands where the strings are. Make sure your techinique is good. Do not rest any parts of your hand on the body of the guitar. Even if you make mistakes and you hit the wrong string from time to time that is OK. Keep good Techinique and you will teach your hands where to go.

Marking Rubric
A= All notes are clear and correct
Excellent right hand technique (always alternating right hand fingers)
Excellent musical sound
B= A couple of wrong notes (1 or 2)
Some mistakes in fingerings (occasionally not alternating fingers)
Bit sloppy right hand technique (hand out of position a bit)
Very good musical sound
C+ = Some wrong notes (3 to 5)
Mistakes in fingerings (sometimes alternating fingers on right hand)
Sloppy right hand technique (resting hand or fingers on the guitar)
Good musical sound
C = Many wrong notes (5 – 10)
Many mistakes with fingerings (occasionally alternating right hand fingers)
Very sloppy right hand technique (resting hand on guitar and fingers on the guitar)
Satisfactory musical sound
C- = Wrong notes everywhere (most notes are wrong)
Mistakes everywhere with fingerings (using 1 finger to play the piece)
Extremely sloppy right hand technique
Sound needs improvement
D = Song hardly recognizable
